The Founders of Fire & Smoke Ki originated from the mainland & began their quest in the food industry as young people growing up in food establishments. Later in life this eventuated into becoming: Mobile Food Caterers - catering all events from weddings to Birthdays to Baptisms. Having originally starting off their business offering wood fired pizzas (with a 90-year-old dough recipe passed down all the way from Italy through the generations) charcoal cooking was soon incorporated to include charcoal spit roasts - both whole animal & boneless. With over 17 years’ experience cooking with wood & charcoal (fire & smoke) they thought it was " about time " that their love & passion for cooking with natures natural elements was presented & served up to the public.

We are here cooking up a storm for the locals, tourists & " blow in's " on this beautiful place we call home - Kangaroo Island. We hope to provide the best possible family friendly dining experience " without the price tag of fine dining " . We use Island produce as much as possible - even the wood comes from our pristine chemical free property. This really is what you call - PADDOCK TO PLATE .
